Nidek MP 3 Microperimeter can examine the still-existing function of morphologically conspicuous retinal areas. During microperimetry, the device’s automatic retina tracking ensures that the presented test stimuli are projected precisely onto the selected points of the patient’s retina. Continuous retina observation also provides repeated testing on the same retinal site.
The perimetry results are then overlaid with the images from the color fundus camera. The selective agreement of functional and morphological examinations creates the conditions for well-founded diagnoses and therapeutic decisions. The easy and uncomplicated operation of the Nidek MP 3 makes the examination with the microperimeter delegable. The data can be viewed as stationary or transferred to a data network.
