Description
CIRRUS 6000 is the latest product development in the already well-established portfolio of OCT devices designed to meet the requirements of all specialist areas of ophthalmologists in practices and clinics. The product offers customers high speeds and throughput, enabling even more patients to be examined faster with improved imaging and image quality.
Jim Mazzo, Global President of Ophthalmic Devices at Carl Zeiss Meditec, explained, “This system was designed with the patient in mind, enabling doctors to continue accessing their patient data from CIRRUS devices that are crucial to effective long-term patient care.”
The OCT Angioplex Cirrus 6000 from Zeiss Meditec is the most innovative instrument for computed tomography. It is one of the best instruments currently available for studying the retina and the optic nerve.
Increased efficiency in the ophthalmological practice
Cirrus 6000 is the latest product development in the portfolio of OCT devices designed to meet the needs of all specialist areas of ophthalmologists in practices and clinics. According to the manufacturer, the device offers customers high speeds and throughput so that more patients can be examined faster with improved imaging and image quality.
The technical characteristics of the new Cirrus 6000 have been developed with the aim of speed; Faster scans mean better image quality. The images generated by the new Cirrus 6000 result from an innovative technological update and represent state-of-the-art digital imaging.
“The CIRRUS 6000 is all about its speed. With increased speed comes greatly improved resolution and detail on cube, raster and OCTA scans, and the new faster CIRRUS enables me to incorporate these more reliable scans into my daily workflow and make important treatment decisions for my patients.”
Theodore Leng, MD, FACS,
Byers Eye Institute at Stanford, United States
The speed of Cirrus 6000, equal to 100kHz, exceeds previous versions and all other equipment available on the market and is the reference standard for OCT exams and OCT angiography exams.
The new CIRRUS 6000 model from Saturn Optical has improved features compared to the previous CIRRUS 5000 model, such as the possibility of expanding the field of view, thanks to the new OCT HD 1 Line 12 mm and OCTA scans up to 12 × 12 mm wide, increasing the scanning depth up to 2.9 mm and the resolution of Angiographic images thanks to the new AngioPlex HD 6 × 6 and 8 × 8 mm Scans.
Faster, wider, and with a new level of detail
With 100,000 scans per second, ZEISS CIRRUS 6000 enables clinicians to capture images of a larger field of view, up to 12mm, in a single scan. It also captures high-definition OCT scans and OCT angiography (OCTA) to reveal the smallest microvascular details of the retina and provide more information about your patient’s condition.
