Huvitz HRK-7000 (A) Auto Ref-Keratometer from Huvitz offers a Retro-Illumination Mode for abnormal crystalline lenses, cataracts, and scratches of corneas. With the increased REF power of this Huvitz autorefractor, you also can check Sph, Cyl, and Axis, which cannot be measured in the normal mode.
HRK-7000A uses a Hartmann-Shack Wavefront sensor, which analyzes many focal spots of a light wavefront. You can measure a customer’s basic refraction error and obtain a spatially resolved refraction map of the wavefront.
Huvitz HRK-7000 (A) Features:
- Hartmann-Schack: The HRK-7000A is engineered according to the Hartmann-Shack wavefront measurement technique, widely preferred for its speed and repeatability. In the HR-7000 A, high resolution is achieved using a micro lenslet array, which Huvitz developed.
- Retro-Illumination Mode: The Retro-Illumination Imaging capability in the HRK-7000A is very helpful in determining ocular health. You can check for scratches and other corneal damage and lens abnormalities such as cataracts.
- Graphical Display of Refraction Map: The graphical display of refraction errors enhances understanding and reliability.
- Peripheral Keratometry Measurement: The HRK-7000A provides peripheral keratometry measurements to aid contact lens fittings.
- Pupil and Iris Size Measurements: You can easily measure pupillary and corneal diameters by freezing an image.
- IOL Measuring Mode: Patients presenting with cataracts or IOL won’t present a challenge with the HRK-7000. Now you can gather a wealth of information and take measurements on patients with intraocular lens implants.
- Auto Tracking: Using cutting-edge auto-sensing and a three-dimensional movement mechanism, the HRK-7000A automatically aligns and focuses.
- Motorized Chinrest: Set the height of the measuring point simply by pushing a button.
- Animated Guide: If a measuring focus is out of auto-tracking range, an animated on-screen guide shows you exactly how to move the joystick to achieve alignment for proper focus.
- Virtual Comparison Function: With the HRK-7000A, patients can compare the current, uncorrected view with the view corrected by AR measurement.
The HRK-7000 Wavefront auto refractor/Keratometer is the newest generation instrument from Huvitz. This model combines the features of an auto refractor, auto keratometer, and an aberrometer into one convenient-to-use instrument.
The HRK-7000 is based on the Hartmann-Shack principle and focuses on measuring second-order aberrations, which result in myopia or hyperopia and regular astigmatism. Because correcting second-order aberrations has the highest impact on acuity, which is the eye’s ability to distinguish object details and shape.
